Frequently Asked Questions
What if I'm new to breathwork?
This program is availble to anyone. If you're new to breathwork, this is a great place to start as you'll gain a full comprehensive training. The self-paced study is for you if you want to learn breathwork for your own benefit and curiosity. The live cohort is for you if you wish to become a certified breath coach.
Do I have to be a healthcare practitioner?
No, you may use this training for your own personal knowledge, you may use this certificate to start teaching breathwork classes, or use it as a modality in your pre-existing healthcare practice.
Is this program accredited?
Yes! This program is certified, and you will receive a certification when signed up for the live cohort. You will be eligible for liability insurance and professional registration with International Practitioners of Holistic Medicine (IPHM).
Who can I help as a breath coach?
Breathwork has the ability to alter the nervous system and how the body functions on a cellular level. With this training you'll be able to use the breath to decrease perceived pain, increase tissue healing, help clients overcome stress & anxiety, and optimize their health.
What is the time comittment and expectation?
The self-paced study has zero time commitment. Access the materials and study at your own pace.
The live cohort and certification requires 7 weeks of self-study with pre-recorded lessons, live weekly zoom calls (recordings available), and 3 weeks of case studies and practice on your own time. At 10 weeks you're expected to submit your final assessment to prove competence and understanding of the material.
How long is each coaching session?
In the live cohort there will be 7 live zoom calls lasting from 40-minute to an hour. These calls will be recoded and available for replay.
